Brooklyn Bodega, Inc. and The Bodega Agency, producers of The 12th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, announced details for?its annual celebration of Hip-Hop Music and Culture. This July 13th-16th, the entire Hip-Hop nation is invited to the Borough of Brooklyn for four days of beats, rhymes, knowledge, film, photography, MCs, DJs, B-Boys, B-Girls, food, fashion and more.
Headlining this year’s Festival is none other than legendary Queensbridge MC, Harvard scholar, and entrepreneur Nasir Jones better known as NAS. Joining Nas is Bed-Stuy’s own Fabolous, the Brooklyn MC who has defied father time himself and remained a force in the industry for almost two decades. Also on the bill for the Finale Concert are fellow Brooklynite, activist and MC, Talib Kweli and Rapsody, one of Hip-Hop’s hottest wordsmiths and influencers. They will be joined by Festival house DJ, Rob Swift, hosts Uncle Ralph McDaniels and Torae and many more artists to be announced.
2016 Schedule of Events
July 13th – The Hip-Hop Institute. Lectures, panels, and workshops dedicated to the study and advancement of issues of entrepreneurship and criminal justice in our community.

July 14th – The Dummy Clap Film Festival. A celebration of Hip-Hop as told through the moving image. Screenings of old school films, documentaries, and shorts. As well as Masters Classes from leading filmmakers both indie and major.

July 15th – Juice Hip-Hop Exhibition. A night dedicated to showcasing all aspects of the culture. DJ showcases, dance battles, sneaker exhibit, live art as well as original art installations.

July 16th – The Finale Concert. The culmination of our programming. The legendary show that has created unforgettable memories for over a decade. The place where old school legends share the stage with next generation’s stars.
Featuring: Nas, Fabolous, Talib Kweli, Rapsody, DJ Rob Swift and more. Hosted by Uncle Ralph McDaniels and Torae.
