The original “Bad Boy” Diddy was named by Forbes as the wealthiest hip-hop artists of 2012, listing his worth at $580 million! That’s up from $350 million from the previous year.
Coming in second place as the wealthiest artist in hip-hop is Jay-Z at $475 million, which is up from $460 million. The next three finalist to fill in the top 5 spots are Dr. Dre, coming in at number three with $350 million (previously $300 million), Birdman with $150 million (previously $125 million), and 50 Cent with $125 million (previously $110 million).
Looks like all five emcee-turned-entrepreneurs saw increases. Talk about getting a raise!
