Two of hip-hop’s baddest ladies, GloRilla and Latto, just pulled off a heist in the most stylish way possible. The GRAMMY-nominated rap powerhouses revealed the highly anticipated music video for “PROCEDURE,” a fiery collaboration that reimagines the classic film Set It Off.
Directed by the legendary Benny Boom, the cinematic visual shows Big Glo and Big Latto executing a high-stakes bank robbery, flipping the script by linking up with security guards for the ultimate come-up. But just when it seems like they’ve hit the jackpot, reality snaps back in the form of an unexpected wake-up call from Vivica A. Fox, who starred in Set It Off. Fox plays GloRilla’s mother in a hilarious twist, reminding her that it was all just a dream.
“PROCEDURE” is lifted from GloRilla’s debut studio album, GLORIOUS, released in October 2024.
Fresh off her Saturday Night Live debut, GloRilla is Pushin P like she’s got something to prove. This past month, she hit the SNL stage with electrifying performances of “Yeah Glo!,” “LET HER COOK,” and “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME,” displaying to the world why she’s one of the most dynamic new artists in hip-hop. She even stepped outside her comfort zone, joining comedy legend Dave Chappelle for a live skit, flexing her personality beyond the mic.
Glo’s debut album, GLORIOUS, came in swinging, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, securing the highest first-week numbers for a female rapper last year. The project delivered multiple Hot 100 hits, including “Yeah Glo!,” “TGIF,” “Wanna Be” (ft. Megan Thee Stallion), and “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” (ft. Sexyy Red). She just locked in two GRAMMY nominations for her double-platinum smash “Yeah Glo!” in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories.
Glo’s reign is just beginning, with her healthy choices and GLORIOUS Tour kicking off in March 2025, hitting major cities like New York, Atlanta, Houston, and Chicago. Fans can cop their tickets now at glorillaofficial.com.
Latto, who’s been on an undeniable streak, recently dropped the remix for “Blick Sum,” featuring Playboi Carti, a heat check from her latest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, which made history when it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Rap Charts in 2024.
With “PROCEDURE,” GloRilla and Latto are showing the world what happens when two fearless, female MCs join forces. The chemistry is undeniable, and the visuals, thanks to Benny Boom, only elevate their star power.
