But the caption really had fans talking; with a pregnancy emoji, Cassie dropped a blue heart and the number three, hinting that she and Alex may be welcoming a baby boy.
For Alex, this news is nothing short of a blessing. The fitness trainer and devoted husband shared his own post, keeping it simple yet powerful: “Best gift I could ask for.”
Cassie’s pregnancy announcement comes as she continues to reclaim her narrative following years of alleged abuse by her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
In November 2023, Cassie made headlines after filing a bombshell lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking throughout their decade-long relationship. Shockingly, the case was settled within 24 hours. But just when the world thought the story had ended, CNN released damning surveillance footage in May 2024, forcing everyone to confront the brutal reality of what she endured.
The video, taken in 2016 at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, showed Cassie trying to escape an argument by heading toward an elevator. A half-dressed Combs stormed down the hall after her, throwing her to the ground, shoving her, and hurling an object in her direction. It was an unfiltered look at the violence she once faced behind closed doors.
After the footage surfaced, Combs attempted to save face, posting an apology video where he admitted: “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then, when I did it, I’m disgusted now… I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to being a better man each and every day. I’m not askin’ for forgiveness.”

My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in.”

No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you.”
As Cassie moves forward, Combs faces a future filled with legal battles. Arrested in September 2024, he is currently sitting in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial in May 2025 after pleading not guilty to charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He continues to deny any wrongdoing, but the walls are slowly closing in.
