Tokyo’s Revenge Drops The Official Music Video For ‘GoodMorningTokyo’

Tokyo’s Revenge drops off the music video to his viral hit, “GoodMorningTokyo,” a single off his MDNGHT (SIDE B) EP, which peaked at #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50. Directed by James “JMP” Pereira, the visuals give fans a look into the rising rapper’s twisted and humorous world, as he raps, “if a ni**a don’t like me, kill me right now!”

The viral sensation is also slated to launch shows at venues across the country supporting New York City duo City Morgue on their Good As Dead Tour. For a full list of tour dates, see below. Fans got a sneak peek at Tokyo’s stage performance during a recent surprise guest appearance at Jasiah’s sold-out show in New York this week — where he had the crowd pumped and jumping.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tokyo’s Revenge, that’s intentional. The multi-disciplinary artist has made a point of keeping himself anonymous, and yet, he is set to be one of the year’s most exciting addition to the music landscape. Tokyo has risen through the charts with viral track “GoodMorningTokyo” which generated more than 43 million Spotify streams, peaked at #1 on the Bubbling under Hot 100 Billboard chart and received more than 12.3 million plays on SoundCloud.
