We have very sad news to share Rappersroom family. According to reports, rapper Pop Smoke was shot and killed Wednesday morning during a home invasion robbery.

The incident occurred at his Hollywood Hills pad around 4:30 AM after two men, wearing hoodies and masks, broke into the home… according to law enforcement sources. The two men fired multiple shots, striking and critically wounding Pop Smoke, before fleeing on foot.

The up and coming rapper was rushed by ambulance to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood where he was pronounced dead.

It’s unclear if Pop Smoke knew the assailants.

“The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Unbelievable. Rest in Peace, Pop,” wrote Nicki Minaj on social media. “No such thing as success with out jealousy, treachery comes from those who are close. R.i.P,” 50 Cent adds.

“Jesus Christ…..Pop Smoke is gone?! Wtf!!!?” R&B singer Kehlani wrote, while Justine Skye adds: “Man Come On I don’t even know dude but he was just getting started in this Rap Game. I was definitely interested in seeing his Growth. Too many young lives with so much potential being taken away. This Shit has to… ”
