Rap superstars Future and Drake reunite for the long-awaited new single, “Life is good.”
“Workin’ on the weekend like usual / Way off in the deep end like usual / Ni*gas swear they passed us, they doin’ too much / Haven’t done my taxes, I’m too turnt up,” spits Drake on the chorus. Future adds, “Life is good, you know what I mean?”
In the video, directed by X, the veteran rappers assume various employment roles including garbage collectors, Apple employees, mechanics, fast-food workers, IT support, which didn’t work out too well, and restaurant chefs. Lil Yachty, 21 Savage, Big Bank Black, and Mike WiLL Made-It make cameos in the clip.
Drake and Future are reportedly readying a sequel to their 2017 joint album, What a Time to Be Alive.
