After just recently celebrating the life of Bad Boy Record’s own Biggie Smalls (March 9th), another artist from Sean “Diddy” Combs’ imprint passes away to reunite with his fallen brother.
Bad Boy recording artist, Craig Mack passed on Monday (March 12). According to New York Daily News, the star faced heart failure causing him to admit himself into a hospital nearby his home in South Carolina.
NY Daily News reports that industry friend, Alvin Toney said Mack mentioned being ill during their last visit together, and knew that he didn’t have much time left.
“He was prepared for whatever comes, to go home to the Lord,” Toney said. “He was prepared to do that. He wasn’t scared. He was ready, Mack is survived by his wife and two children, both adults.”
In the 90s, Mack received Hip Hop acclaim with the platinum hit “Flava in Ya Ear.”
Rappersroom sends its deepest condolences, and prayers to the family, and friends of Craig Mack as we remember his legacy.
