Shy Glizzy – Dope Boy Magic Ft. A Boogie & Trey Songz + Announces Quiet Storm Mixtape Date

Grammy-nominated rapper Shy Glizzy taps A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Trey Songz for his latest single, ”Dope Boy Magic.” On the bouncy offering, the D.C. rapper tells tales of his dangerous lifestyle.

“This life gets scary honey / I’m gettin’ that dirty money / Heard they took 30 from me / Then I gotta go murder someone,” he raps on A Wall’s melodic production. “We got the block back jumpin’ / You hear the birds, they hummin’ / No I can’t serve no under / Yeah bitch I know they on me.”

R&B artist Trey Songz holds down the chorus while New York’s A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie supports with braggadocious rhymes.

“Dope Boy Magic” will appear on Shy Glizzy’s upcoming project, Quiet Storm, due out December 12th.

Shy Glizzy is one of the most stylish rappers to hit the music scene since his 2014 smash debut, “Awwsome.” The record put D.C. rap on the map and Glizzy at the forefront of hip-hop, even Beyonce performed to the record at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival.
