Moneybagg Yo and YoungBoy Never Broke Again Team For Joint Project, ‘Fed Baby’s’

Memphis’ Moneybagg Yo and Baton Rouge’s YoungBoy Never Broke Again release the joint project, Fed Baby’s, via N-Less Entertainment/ Never Broke Again LLC., distributed by Interscope Records.

According to Moneybagg Yo, the two rappers first worked together when Moneybagg was sent a song to add a verse while YoungBoy Never Broke Again was serving a prison sentence earlier this year. Moneybagg hopped on the song and continued to hold YoungBoy down while he was incarcerated. After completing his sentence, the two connected on FaceTime and decided to work on a project together. The majority of the 14 song project was recorded during a week-long session in Atlanta. The two then headed to LA to complete the final tracks.

“The chemistry between us was natural,” says Moneybagg Yo. “We come from the same place, just two different sides of the world. We both come from struggle so it’s easy to relate.”

The project comes on the heels of a whirlwind year for both breakout rappers. Moneybagg Yo’s Federal 3X, released on August 11, debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has amassed over 120k in consumption units. Meanwhile, YoungBoy Never Broke Again released Al YoungBoy, his first body of work since his release from prison, which stands at over 198 million streams in the US. The mixtape landed at #2 on the iTunes Overall Albums chart.
