To follow-up the release of his debut album ‘Not Rich Yet,’ Clyde Kelly drops the new record “Hayley (Fallin’),” a romantic ode to his real-life girlfriend, who is pictured on the single’s cover art.

“It’s a long way down / But I’ll be right there beside you / Long way down / But I’d always risk the fall,” he raps.

“This is a song about the sensation of falling. Not just the weightlessness, but the helplessness. And how that’s analogous to falling in love,” said Clyde. “I wrote it for my now girlfriend Hayley about when we first met. I lived on the east coast, she lived on the west coast, and I wrote this when I was looking for a way to move. I eventually did move out to Long Beach. But at the time, I sat down to write and all I could write about was that gut feeling of falling.”

Clyde Kelly burst onto the Hip-Hop scene to much acclaim in 2016 with his debut album ‘Not Rich Yet.’
