The “Spotlight” is on Machine Gun Kelly in his new rap video, the latest offering from his General Admission album.
The Jr. Saint-directed black-and-white visual kicks off with a cinematic intro before MGK begins rapping with a bloody nose. Rocking a black leather jacket and slicked back hair, he spits bars about Kurt Cobain, drugs, and demons coming to life.
“simplicity [ when it’s done the right way ] says so much,” MGK tweeted about the clip. “usually when i do videos, i try to create a visual metaphor so that it doesn’t just stop at what you see. there’s layers beneath the surface.”
Check the clip and watch MGK also rock the guitar and piano.
