Using the Timex Social Club’s 1986 hit “Rumors” as inspiration, Tyga addresses the media stories regarding his finances and other whispers. “Rumor has it I’m going broke, it’s all smoke and mirrors,” he rhymes.
Brown takes the Timex Social Club’s hook and updates it on the more modern track: “Look at all these rumors surrounding me every day / I just need some time, some time to get away / From all these rumors, I can’t take it no more.”
