Pharrell continues to build his empire!
First Maxine Ashley and now Snoop Dogg. The hit producer-performer and the rap veteran have worked together throughout the years, teaming up to bring us two of Snoop's biggest hits, 2003's “Beautiful” and 2004's "Drop It Like It’s Hot."
Now, Billboard reports that Snoop’s forthcoming album will be released under Pharrell’s ‘i am OTHER’ label in conjunction with Columbia Records. Along with special features by the legendary Stevie Wonder and iconic Charlie Wilson, Pharrell will lend his musical ability by producing the entire project.
“It’s a great record me and Pharrell did from top to bottom. It feels good and I’m happy to be back in the studio working with one of my favorite producers and homeboys,” Snoop told MTV News. “It’s different—it’s completely different than anything we’ve ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good.”
In an interview with Power 106's Big Boy, Pharrell shined light on Snoop’s project by mentioning it’s almost complete.
"Snoop's album is better than mine," he said. "You're gonna bug out from the approach and what we did."
