Jelani Malik Releases Official Video for New Single “Hurricane”

Jelani Malik releases "Hurricane" as a new single off of his forthcoming EP, "Graduation Day". Born and raised in Long Island, NY, now residing in Orlando, FL, the singer-songwriter uses his love for God and his passion for music to minister in the growing industry of Christian Hip-Hop.

With styles similar to famed artists such as Lecrae and Andy Mineo, he too has a family background in music. Having been taught by his mother, a gospel singer and background vocalist to Jeff Roberson and Nu-Life, as well as his father, member of the legendary Hip-Hop group, Public Enemy, Jelani Malik gets the best of both worlds.

He truly knows how to "Keep The Dream Alive" with his new song, "Hurricane".

Jelani mentions:

"I just want to be a blessing in someone's life. I want to encourage the listener that it's okay to be different and have a love for Jesus. Don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of sin, but God brought me out of it and now I'm here to do God's work no matter what comes against me. I'm not here to shove it down your throat. Not at all. I'm just here to bring life music that can stimulate the mind."
