The kickoff for Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated sophomore album has arrived with the release of the first single “I.”

Premiering this morning on Power 106, the record is a self-award anthem of self-acceptance as Lamar declares, “I love myself” on the hook of the tune, which samples The Isley Brothers’ 1973 hit "Who's That Lady."

About his sophomore LP (which has no release date as of yet), Lamar recently told Rolling Stone Magazine, “I have so much to say,” he said regarding having slim to no collaborations. “It’s almost selfish of me.”

Well, when your first single is titled “I,” we guess that’s what can be expected!
