Nicki Minaj Says ‘The Pink Print’ “Will Be a Blueprint For Female Rappers to Come”

Nicki Minaj's confidence level is on a 100 as she readies her third studio album, The Pink Print. This new state of mind is clear in her latest musical releases as wells as her fashion style and natural looks. In an interview about her upcoming project with UK’s BBC Radio 1Xtra’s DJ Semtex, Minaj spoke highly about her pending LP.

“I think it’s good sometimes to deactivate yourself from the machine of the industry,” Minaj tells Semtex. “I think I did that. I got enough time to focus and get a new perspective on who I was in relation to the industry, in relation to rap. I am a lot more confident. I really feel like this album will be a blueprint for female rappers to come. That alone should tell you confident I am about the music.”

She adds: "I'm addressing things that I’ve never addressed before on the third album, which is another thing that I think my fans are going to love."

The Pink Print is led by the single "Pills N Potions," which Minaj calls "something fresh and new," insisting that it’s "unexpected" and "people never heard me sing like that in that tone."

The Pink Print is slated to drop in months.
