Kendrick Lamar, Entire TDE Fam Prepping for Year of Releases in 2014

With the common consensus being that Kendrick Lamar got snubbed at this year's Grammys, maybe the Compton rhymer will get another chance at next year's ceremony. Know why? Because September 2014 is projected to bring fourth Lamar's major-label sophomore album (the follow up to his 2012 debut LP good kid, m.A.A.d city), according to Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith.

In the Billboard over story, Tiffith also says that Lamar’s TDE label mates Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, and singer-songwriter SZA are also working on 2014 releases. And if THAT wasn’t enough, also set to drop this year is the first project from Black Hippy, the rap collective comprised of Kendrick, Q, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul.

And just to show how the entire TDE family is winning, ScHoolboy Q just dropped his third album Oxymoron on Feb. 25, and it’s projected to premier at No. 1 on Billboard.

Seems like TDE is the place to be…With all this music pouring out of Top Dawg, an artist from the label MUST be poised to get another shot at the Grammy’s!
