50 Cent Tapped For Bruce Willis Film, Joins Starz TV Drama “Power”

Music may not be poppin’ for G-Unit boss 50 Cent at the moment, but that’s not a problem for a true hustler. The Queens, NY rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, will continue to focus his energy on film and TV, and we all know the checks are bigger.

Jackson will be gracing the big screen soon as a leading character in Bruce Willis and John Cusack’s upcoming thriller, The Prince. Centered around a family man trying to leave his life as a mob enforcer in the past, shooting will kick off next month in Alabama.

In addition, Jackson has signed on for a recurring role in the upcoming Starz TV series, Power, which he also serve as an executive producer.

Power, set to premiere in 2014, spotlights a wealthy New York club owner who lives a double life as a drug kingpin. Created by The Good Wife's Courtney Kemp Agboh, the series also features Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora and Naturi Naughton.

Mr. Jackson is working!
