Drake’s ‘Nothing Was The Same” Debuts at No. 1 Spot on Billboard

Despite it leaking prior to its release, Drake’s third studio effort “Nothing Was the Same” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 200 chart, selling 658,000 in its first week.

Those sales bump NWTS up to the number two spot for the highest selling album of 2013, behind only Justin Timberlake’s spring LP “20/20 Experience,” which sold 968,000 in its first week back in March.

Drake’s overall stock seems to be rising. Not only does NWTS make 3 for 3 of No. 1 albums fro the rhymer, it’s his personal highest sales debut, topping both “Take Care” (631,000) and “Thank Me Later” (447,000). Drizzy is also stepping out as businessman as an executive for the Toronto Raptors.

Drizzy's doing the damn thing!
