by Kanye West has done little to promote his latest studio album Yeezus, but that will end soon. Like his big brother and co-collaborator Jay Z, the rap superstar has announced a U.S. tour to support the LP, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The 23-city, seven week trek will kick off on October 19 in Seattle, WA and make stops in cities like Oakland, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Philly, and New York, before wrapping December 7 in Houston, TX. Hip Hop's newest sensation Kendrick Lamar will support Yeezy on most of the nationwide dates. Where Lamar will be absent, a yet-to-be-announced guest will open for Kanye
After releasing Yeezus in June 2013, Kanye welcomed his first child, North, with Kim Kardashian. After three months of full on daddy time, he is finally ready to really get back to music.
"The Yeezus Tour" is Kanye's first outing since his 2011's "Watch The Throne" trek with Jay Z, who also announced a new tour.
