The rapper (b. Antwan Patton) is teaming up with retailer Crooks & Castles to formulate and design Left Foot footwear products. The Atlanta emcee says his southern roots influenced this fashion business idea. "One of my passions has always been flip flops and socks. That's what we do down here in the South,” he explained.
After test-wearing the socks for the past couple of weeks, Big Boi describes the socks as “comfy”. "They will be very colorful, you know. Some have images of pitbulls on them, also some with gold chains and medallions. A lot of different designs and very, very colorful. It reflects my personality. I can't wait for people to get them," the self-proclaimed “sock king” told the Wall Street Journal.
