Kanye takes a page from the bootleggers handbook for the cover of his upcoming Yeezus album.
The artwork is a picture of a blank CD in a clear case bound with duct tape with the title “Yeezus” scribbled on it; it's simple, but the message speaks volumes; why invest in a flashy cover when the music will speak for itself? From the sound of previously released songs like “New Slaves” and “Black Skinhead,” it seems Yeezus will feature some thought-provoking bombs that won’t need the intricate cover art to pull listeners in.
Reportedly, the album will not be available for pre-order…everyone must wait for June 18th to arrive!
