by Yesterday news broke that “Love & Hip Hop: New York” costars Joe Budden and Consequence fought during the taping of the VH1’s reality show’s reunion. Confirming the news, Rich Dollaz called up TT Torrez at iPower 92.1 to discuss the details of the fight as well as his current relationship status with Erica Mena.
“It absolutely happened, Cons ran up on him, I think Cons punched Joe or smacked him in the back of the head or punched him in the back of the head and then Tahiry hit Cons and by then security had broke it up, or whatever, whatever. I think it all stems back to something that happened a while back, interview maybe? Something like that. And then last night after the reunion, obviously, there was a big fight outside, on the way home.”
Most of the interview however, concentrated on him complicated relationship with his “LAHNY” costar, Erica Mena. He talked about helping her to make her music dreams come true, giving her “Where Do I Go Away” record away to Olivia, Mena’s rumored past affair with DJ Envy, and their current status.
“We cool, like we cool, said Dollaz about their current relationship status.” I think the show has and always will, these type of shows always put a strain on a relationship, because we’re living our lives in the public eye, and then Instagram, and Twitter, and Facebook, and everybody’s beating you up every Tuesday morning, you know what I mean? Just telling you what you did wrong last night, and then your looking at my sideways like ‘why would you put me in that position?’ when really we’re just living our lives in front of the world. That’s just the reality of it, you know what I mean? So is it hard? Yeah. Has it been hard? Yeah. I don’t know if we’re going to stay together, that’s a good question, but for now, we’re just trying to get through this season and see what happens after this.”
