5 Reasons Why Joe Budden and Consequence’s Beef Should Stay In The Streets

Yesterday twitter was on fire with a beef that sprang out between Consequence and Joe Budden. The altercation occurred at the Love and Hip Hop Reunion. Tahiry had a chance to also throw a blow at Consequence. (Say what you want about Tahiry but she is a ride or die chick.) This scrap between these reality show stars/artists seems to have been brewing, but should it have been publicized?

Consequence Tweet: "Just Smacked The SHIT outta @JoeBudden at the #LHHReunion Everybody have a Nice Day…. #QueensAllDay"

Joe Budden Tweet: "During break Tahiry & I were headed outside to smoke.. Dude came behind, jumped & hit me as I’m walking away, Tahiry snuffs him, he runs…..It was the most pussy display ever seen from a nigga to be quite honest… & it’s all on tape, so y’all can see the pussy shit 4 yourself."

It didn't end there, according to more tweets from both rappers, it seems a bigger scuffle went down later that night. Details are still sketchy, but the cops allegedly got involved.

"Yo @ItsTheCons u good or nah," Budden tweeted sarcastically. "Hope son ight, I was headed home & seen dude talking to police while Jen was crying.. #QueensAllDay tho."

Consequence later tweeted: "@JoeBudden Y'all hit like bitches #straightlikethat Actually Tahiry hit me harder n—a. I told the Police that I don't press charges."

So now that Cons isn't pressing charges, here are five reasons why this "alleged" beef should stay in the streets.

Joe Budden vs. Consequence: Keeping It Real

If you are part of the culture and you are thorough then there is no reason to tweet a simple scuffle. Is it because you are sharing a publicity stunt or are you just venting to your people? Remember folks, sometimes keeping it real can get you in a tight squeeze.

Do you feel that this was a publicity stunt?

Should beef be posted all over social media for the world to see?

Joe Budden vs. Consequence: Media Madness

When the media gets a hold of something they want to squeeze the life out of it. Listening to all the blogs and television gossip shows do not help to calm the situation. Biggie and Tupac were victims of the media drumming up their beef. It went from a situation between men to a beef between two coast.

Joe Budden vs. Consequence: Reputation

We all have a reputation to protect when it is all said and done. You handle your issues in the streets because telling everyone is not going to make you harder. The truth is the truth. People will hear that you handled your business.

Joe Budden vs. Consequence: Social Media

Really I’m not sure if people think that tweets and feeds on social media become invisible when the police check it out, but that’s totally not true. If you get into a fight with another dude why do you feel you have to tweet about it? We want to keep our rappers away from bars so jus handle it without the world wide web. It never really works out.

Joe Budden vs. Consequence: Keep The Law Out

Who wants to catch a charge? People will always get into altercations, but its how people go about them. We all know now that Joe and Con has some bad blood. They could both get there ish off if they decide to find a dark alley and box it out. It might be the old school way, but they both have careers to protect. Keeping it on wax would prevent a lot of problems.
