After dropping the video for “Poetic Justice” last week, Kendrick Lamar took it to Late Night with David Letterman last night (Feb 26) with a jazzy rendition of the hit tune. Accompanied by live instrumentation, Lamar spit both his and Drake’s verses with ease, while the band’s live instrumentation shut it down with pure lushness, the saxophone’s cries adding a dynamic element.
