Nas was impacted by Amy Winehouse’s short life and musical career that he will continue to promote her legacy by donating a percentage from every ticket sold of his upcoming London show to the Amy Whinehouse Foundation.
Amy Whinehouse was a collaborator Nas truely enjoyed, the pair worked together on “Like Smoke,” a record for the ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures’ album. The ‘Life Is Good’ rapper met Winehouse through music producer Salaam Remi in 2008.
Nas pays homage to Amy Whineshouse by including her vocals on “Cherry Wine” a song recorded for his latest project ‘Life Is Good.’
