Drake continues to garner huge dividends from his fourth studio album, Views. According to the RIAA, the LP is certified 4x platinum.
Released on May 6, Views earned Gold, platinum, and 2x platinum certification on on June 9, 3x on Aug. 3, before that current milestone officially awarded on Dec. 1.
‘Views’ is supported by five singles: “Hotline Bling,” “One Dance” featuring Wizkid and Kyla, “Pop Style” featuring The Throne, “Controlla,” and “Too Good” featuring Rihanna. The project topped the Billboard 200 for 13 non-consecutive weeks and “One Dance” became Drake’s first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single as a lead artist, spending 10 weeks at number one. ‘Views’ also became the first album to accumulate one billion streams on Apple Music.
Drake is reportedly planning to release the follow-up album, More Life, this month.
