Eminem Earns Fifth No. 1 With “Monster”

Eminem has another Billboard Hot 100 chart topping single to his credit.

His latest single, "The Monster," which features Rihanna, leaped 2-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart Wednesday, giving him five career number ones, and landing Rihanna her 13th on the coveted tally.

"The Monster" is historic when it comes to Rap/Hip Hop. According to Billboard, Eminem now ties with Diddy and Ludacris garnering a total of five Hot 100 number one charting singles. He surpasses 50 Cent, Nelly, T.I. and Kanye West, who have four number ones a piece.

As for Rihanna, she recently surpassed greats like Whitney Houston (11) and Janet Jackson (10), and her 13th ties her with Michael Jackson. She now passes The Supremes (12) and Madonna (12), but has a way to go before reaching Mariah Carey's total of 18 Billboard Hot 100 number ones.
