Gucci Mane Files Lawsuit Against Waka Flocka and His Mom Alleging Fraud

Troubled rapper Gucci Mane is suing his protégé Waka Flocka Flame and his mother over allegations of fraud and career sabotage.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Gucci claims Waka and his mother, Debra Antney, released his music and collected royalties without his knowledge. In addition, he alleges that Antney has been taking more that her contracted 20 percent management fee, resulting in loss of revenue and damage to his reputation.

Gucci is seeking damages on charges of fraud, racketeering and conspiracy. He also asked a judge to freeze the assets of both Waka and his mom, and request the return of a ring and necklace his ex-manager allegedly took from him.

In the early stages of Waka’s Career, he and Gucci were inseparable. Gucci signed him to his 1017 Brick Squad Records label in 2009, but the two stars fell out earlier this year after Mane parted ways with Antney.

Waka insist he doesn't know where the beef came from and claims he's not a disloyal person. "Honest to God truth, I don’t know cause I’m the loyalist person you could ever see. I took on a man’s beef, risked my life, hung out the window, risked my freedom. I never backed in a corner. To my knowledge it can’t be nothing but jealousy or something because there is nothing I did disloyal,” Flocka previously stated. "Plus I own a percentage of Brick Squad 1017 and I own 100% of Brick Squad Monopoly, so you can’t kick the boss out, it's impossible."

Gucci is currently serving a six-month sentence behind bars for a probation violation related to an arrest in Atlanta, Georgia in September (13).
