Following the news, Rivera confirmed how the couple initially kicked off their relationship, crediting Twitter for linking them. "I had followed him and he sent me a little message like, 'I'm a fan.' I tweeted that I followed him; I was trying to get his attention. We went to dinner and the rest is history," she told Access Hollywood.
She also told WiLD 94.9, "He's like my biggest cheerleader, my best support system. He sings to me. He's the sweetest guy."
No wedding date has been confirmed as yet.
