The original Goodie Mob crew take over a high school while promoting a conscientious message in their new video directed by John Colombo, which includes throwback versions of the group with young costars mimicking the style and swag of the Atlanta group and Janelle Monáe.
Janelle celebrates her Atlanta roots by saying "I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and I grew up on OutKast, I grew up on Goodie Mob, I grew up on Dungeon Family,” So the fact that they’re coming back with music that is jamming and that I get to be a part of it, it’s just such an honor."
Age Against the Machine is slated for release on August 27.
