Once Lost Nas, Frank Ocean Collab to Eventually Be Released

How cray would a collab by Grammy-nominees Nas and Frank Ocean be? Well, there Is such a thing! A song called “No Such Thing as White Jesus” was supposed to be on Nas’ 2010 release Life Is Good, but the song was left off due to a mix up with the music files as they were temporarily lost.

According to the song’s producer Hit-Boy, the files got mixed up with some of Kanye West’s engineer’s stuff. “They finally sent it back and I got the files now,” he told MTV News. No word on when or how the song will debut for the world to hear, but Hit-Boy assures that one day it will. "That song is gonna be heard by the world one day," he declared.

Hit-Boy says he and Ocean went into the studio where Ocean wrote a hook to his track. "He played it for Nas, and as soon as he played it he texted me and was like, 'Yo, Nas went crazy,'" he said about how the song’s joint effort came about.

Both Ocean and Nas are up for a plethora of noms at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony on Feb. 10.
