He leaves none of the year’s events unturned, mentioning everything from Whitney Houston’s passing and the year’s battles with gun violence, to the LA Laker’s coach swap, the presidential election, the Mayan Calendar prophesy, and the birth of Blue Ivy. “2012 Rap Up” appears on his new album Thoughts Become Things, which Skillz says both are his final projects. “Final album, final rap up, I’m bowing out after this,” he said.
